Windows XP Stop c000021a {Fatal System Error}

hai guise,

I installed the latest updates for XP and my laptop crashed. I can get to my login and it crashes just as I'm accessing my desktop. I'm getting this error on a lovely blue screen - Windows XP Stop c000021a {Fatal System Error}

I've tried safe modes/roll backs and again it crashes at the same point.

I've had a look on a few forums and someone copied the csrss.exe, msgina.dll and winlogon.exe from c:\windows\system32 on a comparable system to their own hard drive. Is this safe to do and how would one do it?

Halp needed pls.

When I updated my computer got ****ed too.

It's alright sometimes, and then other times it makes me wanna smash it to bits.

Instead of a blue screen, I get a grey one though.

everytime I start up this piece of **** it says it has to scan j: for consistency and something about fat32 .it's all having to do with my pictures. My son's mostly. I need to back up my **** because I would be so ****ing angry if it deleted all my kids pictures.
