ok so in my ipod library i have albums and songs that arent on my actual ipod. ive recently uploaded stuff to the library and i dont know why its not appearing on the actual ipod, ive synced the **** out of it over and over but i cant get them on there. i used to manage just fine but now i dont know if theres something im missing or ive forgot?? theres plenty of space left so its not that?
help/advice/anyone??

are you sure you haven't got it on manuel sync? this might sound obvious but i have done this more than once...

i've had that happen a few times, but mainly over a few songs that don't appear where they should. for example, under faith no more, i should have 9 songs, but only 1 shows (when scrolling throught the 'artist' section). but when i scroll through the 'songs' section, they're all there. they're all labelled the same way, so i don't know wtd is up with that.

Well - mp3 music have 'tags' at the end of the file with all the artist information on them. It be are these tags that the music software reads to convert in to their own tag format. If information is lacking, like in Faith No More's case, they are mis-put, mis-organised, and so forth. They will show up under songs, but artist name might be missing, or album name - you get the picture...

Otherwise - make sure you highlight the selected songs you want on your iPod and select with right clicking on the songs 'Add to iPod Playlist' to add them to your iPod.

I've always had to add them to my iPod playlist as they NEVER get added automatically!
