| Digital camera advice please I have a Nikon coolpix L1, which is pretty old. I got it maybe 3 Christmases ago. Last October it's like it had a mini stroke. I was taking pictures, and all of a sudden it started opening only half way, the screen started getting fuzzy, and the camera would not turn on all the way. It was not a battery problem. Then the next day it was working perfectly fine except the lens cover would only open halfway so there were black triangles in two of the corners of every photo.
So I sent it to Nikon to get an estimate (no warranty), and they wrote back that it will cost $100 to fix. So my question is, should I pay the money or should I wait and save up and buy a new camera. If that's the case, what should I get? What would you do? I've asked other people, and I keep getting different answers.
Thanks. |
