The music files you purchased from online music stores like iTunes, Yahoo Music or Wal-Mart are under DRM protection. You can not play them on your own mobile devices other than iPod and iPhone. There are way too many ways to convert the DRMed files, for example the one I use, Tunebite, can remove the DRM protection and also can convert the files into the right formats as it supports over 60 formats, audio and video. I think it's very useful having such a tool when you buy all your music with that DRM protection.

I still prefer tuneclone. it is a very professional, powerful yet easy to use audio converter program. i am most impressed by its automatically generated virtual cd burner. it dramatically speeds up the conversion process.

It sounded good this tuneclone, but I tried a demo and I'm a bit disappointed cause it only has 3 output formats it it would have been better to be able to also convert video files with it.So this speeded up conversion process doesn't make up for that fact that it does't have more features.

One of these outstanding DRM software is Daninusoft Media Converter Pro which can remove iTunes DRM

with its newest version (2.1.3.0). The reason I list it here is the newest version has modified its

two major disadvantages compare with the former one:

1. Be compatible with Vista OS.
2. Supports all iTunes DRM files.

And with its other advantages:
1. High conversion speed.
2. Supports many other popular standard video and audio files.
3. Friendly-use interface.

It could be a good choice for DRM remove and Media conversion.
