| Anyone here played Rule Of Rose? All right, so from what I've read, the game wasn't distributed throughout the UK, but hopefully someone from bascially anywhere else will be able to help.
And I'd also like to mention that I only get to play this game once or twice a month, so excuse the vagueness, but not like I'll be able to provide screen captures or anything of the very passage where I'm stuck.
(Anyways)
So I don't recall the number of the chapter I'm in, but it happens in May (1930 or 1931), and I have to find a rabbit one of the kids of the Aristocrats club has lost. I've talked to the dirty little girl, who's now sitting somewhere in a rather stubborn way and no matter how many times I'd find myself back around her and attempt to speak to her again, she no longer has anything to tell for now, and I have come across the rabbit several times, but of course, couldn't catch it.
In the meantine I've found quite a bunch of odd items, like a sock and more than ten marbles.
And at some point I reach an area where a man (who I think used to be tied in the sick-bay), sort of a boss I guess, walks straight ahead to attack Jennifer and Brown, after talking to the ugly sweepers whatever-they're-normally-called.
The question is uber dumb and I'm aware of it, but I've been wondering if you were supposed to fight him at all, because (as much as I love this game, I cannot state the reviews were slander on that point) she moves so awkwardly I hardly ever get to reach him more than, say, 4 or 5 times, and am always the one that's eventually defeated.
I mean, is there something special I should use or find to beat him, or is there something I should do prior to go meet him, or instead? I think I've tried almost everything, even throw the marbles on the floor so that he falls and I can fight him more easily (yes, coward), but it naturally isn't possible.
Oh and last thing but maybe no useless precision, I've mostly tried to fight him with the iron bar, should I pick something else? |
