O2 is pretty good. I pay £35 for 800 minutes and 200 texts with free weekend calls (Sat, Sun, Mon or Fri, Sat, Sun - I can't remember) and never go over.

You can exchange the free weekend calls for free weekend texts too, as long as your contract is £35 or more a month.
