They're actually the most useless support team ever. Sometimes I wonder if they even know what products they're trying to help with.
Basically, my iPod Nano emits this high-pitched buzzing noise all the time, occasionally won't turn off (when this happens, the sleep button also stops working) and makes a whirring/clicking noise when I change the song. I've been trying to register for support for the past month but it always says 'Unable to process your request at this moment'.
The first three or four times I phoned in I got hung up on because it wasn't within 90 days of the original purchase. This time the person told me my hard drive was fucked up - well, 8 gig iPod Nano (second generation) don't have hard drives, so clearly that couldn't be making the noise.
There's no Apple store in Vancouver and I doubt anybody that I've spoken to so far or will talk to in the future is competent enough to hook me up with a box so I can send it in for warranty.
Another interesting thing? My warranty expires next week. These motherfuckers better get their shit together by December 5th.
Has anybody dealt with this before? How'd you get around it? I bought it through the Apple store, too, so I can hardly bring it into Futureshop or whatever. HELP, PLEASE!
