Okay, in any case, about this "alternative third party software"... so let me get this straight. If I have something like winamp already (I do), I can somehow use that to put music on my ipod? But I can't buy music from the itunes website? Or can I? |
Argh my browser ate my last reply, let's try again.
Firstly, sounds like you're probably in luck with your lab computers.
Secondly, in theory I don't see any reason why you couldn't use winamp to manage your ipod, but I can't say I've ever tried. You're right in saying that you wont be able to buy music from itunes that way, though.
