automatic line page breaks that dont separate the document into different pages. its just a dotted line that inserts itself into one big page and wont go away.

i googled, and nothing came up.

tried selecting all and opening a new document. the page breaks are still there.

its not a border, either.

i should add that this all started when i hit "word pad" and it opened up in word.

now, its doing all the page breaks, non-separations and huge views of the document.

did you try going into "format" and then "paragraph" and then look through the page break options? sry if this is a dumb question.

no. i found a way to return the document(s) into their original format. basically, i deleted all the word pad docs and opened up an old one with the regular formatting. and, now, every time i press "new document", it comes up the way it should, with gray space on the sides, gray space between pages, regular formatting and no dotted lines. but, i really want to know how to stop this from happening again, because. ugh.
