The iPod/iTunes Thread [merged]

i've had to restore my ipod twice within this week. both times they hung on me and there was the sad ipod icon. is my ipod on its way to dying already? is this grounds for a replacement?

it just happened to oine of my friends this week, apparently for comstomer service to even tell you whats wrong and what to do-and them not even fix it-its 50 bucks. if i were you i would just get a new one because usually when they fux your ipod like the hardware on it it costs 250, so your better off just getting a new, video one for the price.

The said Ipod icon is the point of no return. Either you were smart and got extended warranty or you didn't and you're stuck with worthless pieces of metal and plastic.

Sounds more like you're better off getting something else entirely different.

If it's still under warranty (less than a year old) send it back to Apple or take it to an Apple store. I'm pretty sure you can make arrangements to post it back via their site.
