Red face Need advice Re; grad school/work situation

Hi everyone,

thanks for reading this. please forgive me for not writing in more often and only writing in when i need advice.

i am going through a though situation. i am in grad school and everyday i get more and more amazed of how unfair things can be. basically, i feel that my advisor is favoring another student. there are things that my advisor does that screams favoritism. that said, i do not know if to address it or now.

for example, for my masters thesis - i had to work on it on my own all along.
this other student got help from a senior student to run her statistical analyses. what bothers me even more is that my advisor never follows up with me regarding where i am at in the process -- while she makes sure to meet with the other student on a weekly basis and even made sure that the senior student put time aside on her planner to actually run the analyses.

i do not know if i should say anything or keep quiet. i don't think it's fair, but i fear whatever negative consequences if i bring this up.

any advice you could give me? thank you.

p.s. i even thought about applying to a different school after i get my masters at the end of this semester -- but god only knows if i'll get in and then going through the process of asking for recommendations over again may be tough since i barely kept in touch with my undergrad. professors...

Next time, just look around for about 5 seconds.
Because there is already a good thread about this.

welcome to real life. not everyone is going to love you and not everyone is going to favor you. just keep doing your thing and doing the best you can? i don't see the point in whining about it to anyone at school. who would you even bring it up to? the prof that is playing faves? you'll just look like you can't handle something that's probably trivial at most.
