Thumbs up Oh BIG FUN!

Obv I don't know you from the man in the moon (oh wait -- him I DO know)
anyway
Normal to be wazzing out a bit but NORMAL procedure is to have consultations w/your degree advisors
Dunno how the whole process goes where you're from but here it is indeed a process, getting a thesis/dissertation subject and outline sorted out & approved. My only instinctive reaction is to go w/YOUR instinctive reactions at first: What fascinates you, what facets of your subject matter rly get you going & make you wanna dig deeper? Make list and take it to your advisors'/tutors meeting(s)
& jot down notes while you're there (listen a lot)

Luck. Pursuing a big thing like a grad level dissertation is always a learning experience in & of itself, pretty exciting imo --- & can be either utter misery in the execution or rly rly amazing
Lots of work, and doing it properly is hugely validating.

But I'm a geek who loved it, so maybe you should NOT be asking anyone like me bc of said prejudice. heh

Chyia, remeniscent

my dissertation is due on oct 30th.
10,000 words on the history of la leche league in nz and what their growth and subsequent decline tells us about the dominant discourse on mothering and mothering ideologies in the late 20th c.

i can't believe i just signed up for a masters its fucking insane.
but i love it.

or i will.

once its finsihed.

you know?

Cool

/\ O wow
Go you!

There's plenty of material on that anyway, yeah? &haha & the "but I love it or at least I will after it's done" sentiments. tho o'course idk much about whatever went on in NZ or why it was such a big deal & then got less so? Only obv there are heated debates re breast-feeding & weaning & optimum baby nutrition stuffs kinda everywhere last I knew

I so hope that you'll also love the discovery & data gathering process, eventually anyway -- despite the smtms pull-own-hair-out moments of possible (OK, v likely ha) frustrations along the way

Kudos

Chyia yay for research organization&editing dorks
