I hate mine too, so tomorrow I'm handing my notice in and going on the hunt good and proper!

I hate some of my job. I work as a tutor and earlier this week I was dealing with this truely retarded and spectacularly annoying 16 year old who asked literally an hour's worth of really dumb questions- like what you'd expect of a 9 year old. interspersed with playing with his mobile phone. And then it turned out that despite living in London, attending private school and being SIXTEEN YEARS OLD, he had no idea what the word "urban" meant. He was literally one of those human beings who is so annoying it made me reconsider whether I should ever have children just incase they turned out like him.

But then again, I earn £30 an hour from this so I should be glad I don't have to work that much to survive.

yeah i only work four days a week but its 10 hour days and i have to call business and try to make sales to them. they usually are not happy about the fact you called so i end up taking a lot of guff off of people i dont even know and i cant say a damn thing about it. so i hold it all in and when i come home every day im filled with all of this negative energy that i feel i somehow absorbed from all these peoples negativity that im dealing with pretty much all day.
i may be a telemarketer but thats just my job title. im still a person and a lot of times the people on the other end of the phone completely disregard that. and its rubbish. you would think some of these peoples mommies and daddies never taught them any manners. im just doing my job and if i had a choice at the moment this wouldnt be my job so people should just lighten the fuck up. everybody gotta get the ends. i aint no acception.

yeah it really bites the big one. unfortunately with our declining economy you sorta have to take what you can get. and i mean its good pay and all but im starting to think its just not worth it.

i fucking hate telemarketers. hate their fucking guts. but im never rude to them. i act interested and while they are speaking i *click* hang up.

nobody likes telemarketers but did you ever take into consideration that its just someone doing what theyre paid to do? if i could find something else right now i wouldnt be doing this at all.

haha I worked briefly for a political polling company. Some of the polls we had to do involved asking like 80-100 questions over the phone. People were usually cool until about the 20th question and you could tell they were getting agitated about how long they were kept on the phone. And once in a while you would get a creep on the phone who you could tell was getting off by the sound of your voice because you could hear them start breathing slowly and heavy.

What do you do, may I ask?

Then find a new job. duh.

yeah if i wanted to work a crappy part time job in a fast food restaurant and make 400 dollars a month. but you know seeing as im 23 and have to support myself as i dont have a mommy and daddy to rely on like most people my age still do i have to take what i can get to pay the bills.
