I have an interview there tomorrow morning...only want the job to get some money together really...they said I could either do a sales assistant job or work on the pharmacy. So, your experiences, good, bad??

i did my work experience there. i actually enjoyed it, largely due to the fact that i got along with the other people. not really much to tell to be honest. i imagine it's pretty much the same as any retail job.

when i was abit of a scally in school i always used to steal expensive make up from superdrug, now i buy my own i wear collection 2000.

one of my friends works in superdrug as a sales assistant and iv got another friend who works in a pharmacy. i think id go for the sales assistant you get more laughs but then again in the pharmacy you might learn alot ..?

They don't sell expensive make up in superdrug.

Well, I got the job...i've been there two days. The shift patterns are a little crazy for me as I have travel to get there..hmmm. At least it's only for a few months. It seems that an alarming number of people in my area seem to have bladder problems

Can I just say how much I adore Superdrug's "Clarity" range of Instant Matt Finish/Shine Control Paper. Combination skin is the bane of my existence and I don't know how I lived until the advent of this product.

Hey, i have an interveiw at superdrug on Friday...what kind of questions did they ask you? little bit scared of sounding like a prat heh.

to be honest, they didn't really ask me any questions. I was interviewed for the pharmacy and then they offered me the sales job so really I didn't know anything about the sales assistant side of things until i got there on the monday. Err, really she just explained about what the job involved a bit and the only question I got asked was about my previous employer...don't worry, it's not that difficult to get a job there to be honest, they don't expect half as much as in some retail jobs i've had...just be polite and friendly during the interview and that's it. If you do get it, you will get sick of asking people for phone credit & stamps within about an hour...some of the shifts are quite long (8.30 -5.30) and they don't do any full time employment, unless you're a manager or supervisor. The shifts are sort of odd, with people coming & going and various times of the day. If you are at college or school you will be expected to work weekends & bank holidays and also they can give you a couple of hours starting at 3.30 -5.30 in the week too..at least that's what happens where I work.
