I came home tonight from work. I was starving and went downstairs to warm up my food. Went back to my room and my door was locked with the key inside! My landlord lives with me and she had to break the lock. She said she'll buy a lock tomorrow but i said "no, i'll get it." My friend said I could find one at home depot for about $15, but I don't drive and home depot is in the middle of nowhere. I'm thinking to give her the money to buy the lock but I don't know how much to give her. I don't want to give her too much or too little. I checked home depot website and the locks are $50 don't know what the heck to do. Any ideas?
