All I ever wanted was to finish uni {didnt care which course as long as it wasnt too dreary}, get a job I liked, marry my fiancee and make tons of babies. Im in my 2nd year of uni atm, and I HATE the course im on, its just so ... boring. I dont want to drop out though, as i'll have to wait til September to start a new one, and I wanted to finish uni at the same time as my other half so we could get married and move somewhere.

I'll be a failure to myself and my parents if I fail uni, and end up with nothing but A Level education, argh im stuck in a hole!

Has anything like this {failing uni} happened to anyone else? What did you do? Advice? I feel like im in the middle of a {lower} mid life crisis :/

Are you failing cause you can't do it or cause you don't care about it? Cause if you are set on graduating at the same time as your partner, just suck it up and do the work and scrape a 2:1. It isn't that hard and really in most cases, the work you do academically is only a tiny part of your student life. If you like your friends, the area and the city, then stick with the course you have. Otherwise talk to an academic advisor about maybe some courses you could swap onto that you can join in second year (some degree courses let you do that). What are you studying?

media professional studies atm, thats an idea though, I can maybe transfer onto another course and keep my credits. I dont live near the uni tho, my housemates are awful so I fell out with them eventually, and I commute every day now.

Im failing because I cant enjoy filming, I have problems with thinking of ideas then get stuck filming something I dont enjoy, which makes it suck for me.

But your lovely for the transfer idea though, ill look into it <3
