I had my navel pierced like a month and a half ago.

I went out for a run, then got home and noticed- the barbell is gone and I've got this really really thick congealed blood coming out the bottom and the top hole is turning black. I had just cleaned the piercing before going out too because the bottom hole had been having a lot of pus and congealed blood lately and I thought it was just part of the healing process or whatever.

I can't afford to go to the emergency room, how can I tell if there's still metal in there?

Will I be able to get it repierced?

that sounds horrible!

imo, if a piercing is pussing and bleeding after a month, something is seriously wrong. the black top hole could be a reaction to the metal, or worse, blood poisoning. i really think that you should get it checked out. did you get it pierced by a professional? cos they should be able to tell you what's up.

I'm going to go to the place I got it pierced tomorrow since it's a Sunday evening here and they're closed right now.

this sucks ass. I wanted this piercing so bad and I stuck to the rules of cleaning it.

and then a wound wash saline spray twice a day with a Q-tip to get rid of crusts and pus.
