i pretty much hate all face tattoos unless it's a thug who has a tear drop or a rockabilly dude gone too far. so yes it's all bad. and does look like a disease.

I know a girl with a paisley type of thing on her forehead -- it's pretty cute, I think. I would never get a tattoo on my face at all though...

I also know a girl with a similar kind of design on her earlobes, which I think is cute.

But those kind of designs are not as intricate as tattoos.

If you go to a good enough tattoo artist, they shouldn't have a problem with the detail. I have some really intracately detailed work on my arm that has turned out just fine. Of course, it also depends on the size of the design.

Personally, I don't like the design or concept. I'm not keen on tattoos that, pretty much, come from a person pointing at a picture and going "I want that one."

But. it's your skin and you have to live with it. If you really, really want it, then you should get it.

I was thinking of Ian Paisley too. That'd be much cooler than some swirly pattern ****.

If you go with Ian Paisley on your forehead I will buy a sub and pos rep you. Twice.

if you do go for it, it'll look nice for awhile. but like calalove said, tattoos tend to bleed.

i mean... i'm really trying to not be a naysayer, i just think that particular design will end up looking like a blob.
