Bump :(

I repierced my tragus about five months ago (I had to take my old one out for a job I had, grr).. it doesnt go through any scar tissue or anything and anyway a few weeks after I had it pierced a little bump appeared.
So I asked my piercer for advice and she reccomended that I use a peroxide solution? Anyway, it's what they use for cleaning wounds in hospital. So I used it and it worked just fine. Then a few weeks later I had to have some xrays at the dentist and the woman made me take out all my jewellery and I couldn't fucking get the ring out! And all the pulling and messing around and stuff irritated it like fuck.. and the lump came back. Now this time it was so stubborn! I went back to my piercer and she said just to keep cleaning it and be patient. I tried the peroxide again, and when the lump was smaller I used tea-tree oil on it.
And finally, on Friday morning I woke up and it was completely GONE. But this morning when I woke up it was back again... and I just feel at my wits end with the little bugger I guess I should just carry on cleaning it with something a bit gentler like an antiseptic solution and be patient. But I'm just so tired and pissed off at it. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do?

I guess it is a positive sign that it goes completely. However just keep cleaning it any chance you get everyday.

What do you mean by 'I repierced my tragus about five months ago'...Professionally?

Cool, just checking. I'm no expert yet i was told to use Vitamin E on scarring formed by piercings. I used the little capsules and popped them over the area in mention.

Make a hole with a pin and squeeze it out over the area. It's not that messy as long as the hole isn't too big. It smells a bit funky though.

maybe try doing sea salt soaks? that is the advice my piercer has always given myself and my friends, just use 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt in 1 cup of purified (boiled) water, then soak the area with it when the water is warm. works a treat!

YES
it's much gentler on your skin and better than messing about with it
