Anyone else like them/hate them/going to one soon?

| | | I go to the London Tattoo convention.
My partner got a chest piece by Chad Koeplinger last year.
I am hoping to either get something by Davide Andreoli or Amanda Toy this year.
I perfer the London one as you get artist that you wouldn't normally see locally. I mean I love Steve Byrne but I am just going to go to Leeds to see him. Save the London convention for the international tattoo artists. |

I'm yet to get anything done whilst at the London convention or at any convention for that matter.
Most of the artists i would like work from are 'fairly' local. Phil Kyle just opened a Mangum Opus in Brighton which is right on my door step so i'm chuffed.
I think the London Convention has a great mix of artists. I'm glad there is a lot of British artists/those who are based in and around England there, it's a great opportunity to have a chat before making a trip to their shop. |

if i was you, i'd go with davide andreoli. he's AMAZING. amanda toy is great aswell, i tried to get tattoed by her in many occasions (mostly milan tat conventions - wich are cool, unlike the roma ones that suck BAD) but i failed.
and she's a pretty rude bitch. stick with davide
i've been to the milan, rome and madrid conventions. madrid was cool, lost of shows (also concerts and stuff) - i've been told the london one is fab, but i'm always busy round that time of the year and thats bad cause i've got lots of friends that are tat artists and work there aswell |

Firstly, Location - Rome!!! ....meh, I am offically jealous.
Its one of my life goals too one day get my arse to Italy. Such a beautiful country.
When the Boyfriend was getting tattooed by Chad we were sitting in a booth right next to Rudy Fritsh and Amanda.
Thats how I became a fan, really loved the work she was doing.
I have to admit though, I do much perfer Davide Andreoli's work.
I love the totally old school designs with the really dark colours.
I brought one of his flash books when I saw him in London, but have decided that if I want one of his designs on me, I'd rather they actually be by the man himself. He seemed like a really cool guy.
I can't find any point of contact though. He doesn't seem to have a myspace and his website is mainly Italian, which I obviously cannot understand.
Oh and if either of you are interested. Some photos of him getting tattooed by Chad -
Finished Design -
Oh and Davide Andreoli's booth!!!
woop!! |

| | | regarding rudy and amanda, i think the best tattoo would be one designed by rudy and colored by amanda... i like rudy's flashes better, but im totally in love with her use of colours. he's a lot nicer than her anyway.
Anyway you're right, davide doesnt seem to have an email address on his site. there's only telephone numbers but i guess the're not really useful :| | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
