On my shoulder, i have a hearagram, its about 3x3 cm big.

I got it when I was a lot younger and I regret it now, but instead of getting it removed I want to modify it to something, but im not sure what :S

Ive tried a few designs myself, but nothing has worked, seeing as it has a circle around the outside of it which makes it a lot harder to alter. Has anyone got any suggestions?

take it to a reputable tattoo artist, a lot of times there are specific tattoo artists that specialize in coverups. if its all black it'll be easy to cover up. you kind of have to be open to whatever the tattoo artist can come up with though, because it's not an easy task.

If it's not very big you can easily cover it up completely with another tattoo. If it has a lot of black in it and is really dark, it's recommended that you get at least one laser treatment in order to lighten it so it would be easier to cover.

the laser treatment should only be needed if the tattoo artist can't work around the design or the designs the artist came up with weren't really anything you like. most people don't have 400 dollars laying around to get one of those.

ah, so the artist can redesign me something? I didnt know that, but thats kickass, ill give it a try, thanks guys
