I am getting antsy and really struggling about what kind of memorial tattoo to get for my mom and uncle. I had a two angel idea where they are embracing each other but now I'm not feeling it.

I am looking for something more simple now I suppose. I've got this rough idea and maybe it won't work or be too much. I was thinking doing a heart on one wrist and a star on the other. My mom is the heart and my uncle is the star. I want them to look old school style. I don't know if I should just put 'Mom' and 'Uncle' or their first and middle names, or names and mom and uncle. Full birthdays and deaths? What about even a lyric with it as well? No idea!!

How does this sound? What are your ideas/suggestions?

i like the idea of the heart and the star with your mom and uncle's names on each, respectively. it sounds beautiful without being OTT.

yep, it doesnt have to be an obvious memorial tat if you dont want it to be? Mom and Uncle would be better than their first names i think x

well you could just get the first letters of their names? maybe entwined in a way, so you cant really see thats it's two letters..but you can see if you look closely?
