I want to get a lyric tattooed on my arm. How long before it starts to stretch and get gross?

On your arm I guess it depends on if you're planning on getting fat soon?
but the forearm should be pretty safe..ish.
it will start to fade about 2.5-3 years into it.

i want to get it on my left arm like inbetween my wrist and elbow fold.

I don't see why it would stretch..? The underside of your forearm probably won't get exposed to the sun nearly as much as, well, the top, so it should keep it's color for a while. I have tats on the underside of both wrists (one is about 1 year old, the other 1.5), they've hardly faded at all.

would like a greycolour look shitty? because i dont like black because my skin is really white and i dont want it to be black

grey wouldnt be the best idea..There are different kinds of ink, and the kind they use for outlining and small letters is a kind that wont blur as much as ink they use for colouring it in..at least thats what the tattoo guy told me
Also, I got a tattoo with letters too,and when it settles into your skin it wont be pitch black anyway!

That might make it look like it's already fading, depending on the shade. I'd suggest discussing it with your tattoo artist and see what they think. But I agree that black on pale skin would probably look too bold. What kind of font are you putting it in?

I was about to ask about the font too. A black tattoo can look really delicate and not bold at all depending on the font and thickness.
and grey will blur, which can really ruin a tattoo

its zapfino font from my macbook. its just really nice.
i didnt mean like pale grey.
i meant like sort of like the grey that is on the background for the 'user cp, faq, donate...' box. like that. i just really don't want black. i'll feel like i have a log of licorice on my arm or something.
