| | | sharing tattoo needlez last night we ran out of needles. there were 6 people getting tattoos and only 5 needles.
so angie&me shared needles. i mean she used mine after me. then i got dotdotdot added to the front of my rem tattoo.
i know i got no aids or hepatitis, i had tests last year. and angie's got no aids, she's been tested recently for that. and he did sterilise the needle. which is obv not the same but you know. are there other concerns i should have?
it's not something i would ever do again btw we have time constraints though, we all got matching tattoos and i'm leaving tomorrow so it had to be last night. i realise it's not the smartest thing ever so no lectures please?

| | | well..yeah I guess the thing to worry most about is hepatitis..since she hasnt been tested for thar, right?
I'd say both get tested for hep in a few months..just to be sure. I don't know what other illnesses one could get from this though, but I think the hep is the most obvious.
I mean, 99% chance there is nothing wrong, and I can understand why you guys made the choise..
anyway, yeah, see a doc about it in a while, just so you don't have to worry about it. thats what I'd do anyway.
p.s.
show pics of the tattoo! |

| | | well i mean. did he autoclave it? because YOU KNOW THE RISKS. no lecture necessary. but autoclaving is the best sterilising.
i think hep b is still probably yr biggest concern.

| | | well. he didn't autoclave it.
he travels you see, i mean my guy tattoos you at your house. he usually brings enough needles but leeanne showed up and he hadn't counted on her so we were a needle short.
lol my new tattoo is swollen and more sore than any of thers were and i was panicking. even though lol it was the first tattoo done and it was a clean needle.
he told us you can't get aids from tattoo needles, and i just checked, apparently you can't. anyways
time to google hepatitis?

| | | hepatitis c is spread by blood contact.......over 4 million people are infected with it and most don't even know they are........it takes a specific blood test to get tested.........the easiest and cheapest way to find out is to donate blood.......tattoos are one of the easiest ways to spread hep c........it can also be spread by using an infected persons toothbrush (if their gums have been bleeding), toenail clippers, razors............hep c is widely spread among the inmate population in prisons and jails, also.........

| | | You should always go to a professional artist in a good tattoo shop, not some friend who does tattoos in your house. Besides the issues of health and diseases, they just don't do the same quality of work as real professional artists. Not a smart thing to do for many reasons. |

i lovelove the quality of his work. he is a professional, he had a shop for years. now he just does work for friends, he's finishing his degree or something. he's pretty sterile too i mean
lol i'm not going to spend hours justifying my decision i don't feel the need to
but i resent the implication that i would let any old ranodm tattoo me
