Swollen Lymph Nodes (wtf which forum does this belong in?)

I got really sick when I was in Ottawa, and ever since I've had lumps behind my ears/on the back of my neck and I'm all phlegmy. Apparently it's swollen lymph nodes. Has anyone else had this? Do I have to go get antibiotics from the doctor or should I just continue my intense water & stubborness diet?

I've had this on the neck but without the phlegm and it cleared up itself. I think sometimes it can just be a sign that your body is doing what it needs to do to fight some bug it has caught, even if you don't feel unwell.

But I would say swollen lymph nodes + phlegmy + you actually felt unwell for a time, that is maybe worth a trip to the doctor? Especially if it has been a couple of weeks.

Well I puked multiple times when in Ottawa, and I've been congested ever since... plus I've had painful head aches that are sharp and sudden, that actually leave me with a really tender area (tender to the touch, that is). So basically I'm probably dying, right? I'd go to the doctor but I am working two jobs and not sleeping so I just assumed not sleeping is the source of all my problems. I was really just wondering what is to be done with lymph nodes. Someone said they come about when you have infections.

i say go to the doctor. if 10 days have passed and you're not getting well then it's probably more along the lines of infection not virus.
and sometimes your body needs to rest...
