i'm not a nurse or pharmacist, but my understanding is..

Zyrtec/Claritin are both Cetirizine and Loratadine, are all in the most recent class of -drine, and they work similarly to target hay fever/seasonal allergies. Allegra, as well. My understanding is they all work nearly the same, but work more efficiently for some than others due to a variety of cir***stances/allergies.

Benadryl is Diphen, which is slightly different and an older generation, and better targeted at skin allergies like hives, rashes, and contact allergies (i.e.: latex allergy, contact only peanut allergy), rather than seasonal allergies due to pollen/dust, etc. it also has drowsiness and increased appetite/hunger as major side effects. So much on the drowsiness bit, that the only difference between Tylenol and Tylenol PM is that Tylenol PM has Diphen added to it.

and that this year is the "worst year on record" for allergies.
so say... scientists or whatever

it's going to taste really good though, when it goes down.

i take tylenol PM like my life depends on it, and it makes food at midnight always seem light a very very necessary idea. but since (and i think we all know) melatonin is bull****, one has no other option.

clotty i went out to dinner w/ a bunch of azn pharmD girls from UCSF who are all dating goofy white guys. it was kind of amazing. they were all kind of severe, and ate a lot, and all said they don't give a **** about helping people, and infact only care about about doing science and making $140,000/yr. i think you would have liked them.

do you guys ever get allergy problems where your whole face itches and you want to claw all your skin off? i never did until this spring. it's really not nice. i am trying to find out what these yeller folks take for their allergies but they ain't talkin. i think it's a national secret bc none of them seem to have it or know what to do bout it.
