will it look like someone threw acid on my face?

Is that the same as microdermabrasion because I hear that is supposed to be good for acne and doesn't have many side effects?

Don't know anyone whose actually had it though cause its not available on the NHS.

Microdermabrasion is different. I have had both, and though I prefer microdermabrasion, chemical peels are pretty awesome. Your face does go all red and kind of gross for like, a day, but after that it looks pretty amazing.

defs prefer microdermabrasion though - it tingles and then afterwards your face looks really dewy and a bit red, but so smooth and great. I used to get them every few months, and I only got a peel once.

Talk to your skin specialist and see what they recommend though.

i know they have different strengths.
ask cherrynebs. she used a lesser harsh ingredient that, if i remember, was good to her.
