| My mom was diagnosed in 1994, died in 2006 after every kind of treatment you can think of, including a stem cell transplant and a bunch of other bullshit i won't bore you with here
mostly all i have to say is:
anyone who has had, knows someone who has had, or is at all interested in breast cancer needs to read Pink Ribbons, Inc by Samantha King.
It should be required reading for the world. If you think you are doing a good thing by buying pink ribbon yogurt, or doing the Race for the Cure or whatever, you need to read this book. Everyone should, actually.
