What helps you sleep?

I've tried melatonin, which works, but takes too long to kick in, and i end up only able to get 4 hours of sleep max. I've also tried spraying lavender oil on my pillow and bed sheets. i've tried a warm bath and warm milk, but i am so restless

i'd prefer not to try any medications. what else helps?

I'm a fan of the melatonin.

What do you do before you go to sleep? I always have to read a little bit before I sleep, it helps me wind down.

usually i'm reading or i might be online for a little bit. or i'll watch tv. melatonin is great, but it just takes too long to kick in, and by that time my alarm is usually set to go off soon
