i haven't worn earrings in my actual earlobes for over a year. today i bought a fucking gorgeous pair of big dangly earrings from a 2nd hand market (I DISINFECTED THEM WITH MILTON!).

anyhow, i had to really shove the backs through hard because they'd healed a bit & now my lobes are burning like hell & red & puffy & shit.

this has happened before, & after a week or so they get used to wearing earrings again, but is there ANYTHING i can use that's going to stop the itching/burning sensation until then?

cold cream? like aqueous cream or something? to soothe them

i'll stick some Lush stuff on. i've tried tea tree oil, but that stings too much. i don't know if i should jab holes through the rest of the ones that're lying dormant & get it a over with at once. there's this clear fluid coming out as well not sure what that is.

i would just take the earrings out, that sounds like an infection.

the clear stuff came out instead of blood when i jabbed them through. i'm not sure they've been in long enough for an infection (an hour?) there's a chance i'll take them out anyway because i won't get any sleep with them feeling like this. it's like when you put cheap earrings in that aren't silver & your ears feel shitty, but these are silver.
