and she has like, a reputation for shall we say, telling tall stories to get attention kind of.

Anyway short version, early last week I think it was or maybe a bit before that, she called me and told me she was pregnant but only two weeks gone and it was all confirmed by the doc' and that. And then on friday morning she text me telling me that she was bleeding, not like a period, but still quite a lot and that she'd gotten a doctors appointment for that afternoon. So, the afternoon came and she text me again saying that the GP had sent her to hospital to have a scan and see if "it's the baby or just something of nothing" and then that night she called me like "Lucy, I lost the baby!" etc.

Anyway my question and for the record, I feel like a right ***** for even thinking this.. would they do a scan if you were like 2 weeks gone? Cus like, it's a few cells at that stage right? What? Is she full of **** about the pregnancy or?

Also don't know how relevant this is, but she went to talk to our other friend and when she told her what happened she hardly looked her in the eye and went red? (I'm far away, you see.. I got the phone version.)

Hmm sounds like bull****! I don't think they can tell before 2 weeks?

But pregnancy tests can detect up to 5 days before the missed period?

She seems pretty melodramatic for being all OmgZ lost mah babbys over it but maybe she's always wanted to be a mommy or she's insane. Who knows. The whole "something of nothing" phrase seems ..uh.. stupid.

She was probably just late then got her period but freaked out and tardedly told everyone she was pregnant then had to lie to cover it.
