It sounds like you might be allergic to your sunscreen! Try applying it at night and if you get the red cheeks, then stop using it. Also, the sunscreen might react with UV in a way that your skin gets irritated by - you could try going out for 15 minutes without sunscreen on to see if that's the problem. I once had an awful reaction to suntan lotion - I came out in red welts all over and it took two days for them to go away
My mum gets rosacea, and she's tried lots of things to sort it out. She also has very sensitive skin, and gets very red skin even when she used supposedly "hypoallergenic" products.
