mitempfindung

wut

there's a word for everything.

sometimes i get an itch in places but i have to scratch somewhere else to relieve it. like i will itch between my toes, but scratching there does no good although scratching my upper calf makes it go away.

it can often be hard to find the place i need to scratch.

it's related to synaesthesia apparently, though i don't have that, and quite common.

anyway i love weird shit like this, especially if it has a stupid name

yes. it is also called referred itching, like referred pain, but that isn't a fabulous word. how would you translate that (compound?) word

well i have no idea how to traslate it
the word itself, from its origin or whatever would mean "the act of feeling with somebody/something"

in the case of a referred itch that would probably mean that either the itching place feels with the place you scratch to get relieve or the other way round or something??
