when were ladies shave creams invented?

why have i always thought they were a figment of the 90's?

am i right?

being a gramma myself, i must've started shaving circa '93 or so? and it was the school of soap and water.

then at some point in the 90s skintimate and those types of things started showing up in our shower.

had they always existed and my mom was just a weird bitch? or were they new?

i was shaving w/ soap and water today and started having flashbacks in the shower.

so that's why ask.

bc considering the fact that females have more square footage to shave than men, it seems kinda dumb that they always got the shaving cream and we got nothing.

but idk.

u mean just shaving cream for the ladies and not the hair removal cream right? then yea, thatz prob a nineties thing. but that short shorts commercial was out way way way before that. but that's not what you mean. right?
