Yet another contraception thread

I've decided I want my Implanon removed. I've had mood swings, been really irritable, and I've also been dizzy for no reason and sometimes I have a weird tingly sensation in my legs. Penetration hurts. It's like I'm sore on the inside of my vag, on the "front" part, if that makes sense. It's been like that for a while, and there is no other reason why I should be sore since I never use tampons or anything like that.

All this has scared me a bit, and I'm also tired of being sad and irritable all the time.

I'm tempted to go without hormonal contraception and use condoms.

I have already tried 3 different types of pill, NuvaRing and now Implanon. I'm starting to think my body can't handle this sort of treatment. But most of all I'm wondering whether it's harmful to switch contraception many times? Would it be bad to try another pill brand?

Apparently Yasmin is a good choice, with less side effects.
Lots of women switch brands all the time to find the right ones for them and it's perfectly fine to do so.
Keep going till you find the right one.

I jsut started taking Yasmin but it's way more expensive... all of them are crap though and make me ill

I switched to Cerazette which is a newish minipill and it's been brilliant. I got told I couldn't take a combined pill anymore due to my migraines...even though I'd been on it for around ten years and no-one had ever mentioned it to me before.

Yeah I was on Yasmin and it gave me migraines and horribly sore tits.

and hurricane girl, idk about mini pills. I'm pretty shit at remembering to take normal pills let alone mini pills. and i know several chicks who have gotten knocked up on it... so I'm a bit sceptical there...
