Cystitis - blood in urine

I know that this happens in 30% of cases but what I want to know is why? Where is it coming from? And how does it get there? I've tried to find the answer online but no luck. Thanks for your help - very much appreciated!! A sufferer xXx

i posted here when i had cystitis

then i found some anti-biotics and it went away, gosh it tickled to pee though.

Blood=bad. Doesn't that mean the infection has reached your kidneys? I surely hope you are getting medical treatment for this because I think the kr treatment wont cut it
