Sciatica

I have it. Has anyone else here had it? My doctor didn't reallt ay much about it, just told me to rest and take painkillers. The achy leg is the worst thing ever. How long does it take to go away?

Try getting a massage. I have sciatica and it's caused by my shoulder being out. Basically:

The sciatic nerve runs from neck base to ankle, when it's pinched it inflames in your hip area. Massage or osteopath treatment stop it hurting. Painkillers don't.

Wouldn't some yoga postures help too? I'm not sure but there are some that stretch the sciatic nerve. Maybe that's good? They're fairly easy too...

Yoga Exercise - Seated Forward Bend (Paschimothanasana)

Yoga Exercise - Single Leg Raises

Good luck!
