| What does low blood pressure mean? Apparently I have low blood pressure, I fainted in public and the ambulance came and took my blood pressure and said it was low and then took it again and it was still low and every time they had me stand up it kept dropping so they took me to the hospital and at the hospital they said the same thing that my blood pressure was low and they ended up hooking me up to an IV and when I asked them if it was necessary they said I needed fluids.
I ended up leaving the hospital without any of the tests because they were taking too long and not explaining anything and I couldn't really afford the tests. I went home and slept and was fine the next morning.
I've had this happen a few times just never actually had to go to the hospital and the other time EMTs came they took my blood pressure and said it was low and then did something else where they pricked my finger, and they told me to eat less sugary foods and had my mother take me home.
Does my having low blood pressure all the time actually mean something, or is it just a side effect from fainting? Because if I have low blood pressure shouldn't I be fainting like every day instead of just once in a while? |
