oh i always called my "wonky" eye, a lazy eye. but i guess it's not.

mine is more of a lazy eyelid.

Yeah, ptosis is the one with 'too much eyelid'. Essentially, a ligament that pulls the eyelid up has been stretched or come completely disattached and droops.

I guess lazy eye is just a term that covers a bunch of different conditions that cause one eye to be different from the other? My eye doctor said I have a lazy eye and then said that it meant one was just significantly weaker than the other only in terms of eye sight.
So it doesn't go off to one side or stay half closed. It doesn't really do much of anything.
