I treated myself to lunch at wagamama on Saturday and ended up with food poisoning! The vomiting and diarrhea were pretty nasty, but the gut ache was the worst - I was just lying in bed, surrendered to the pain, wondering how it is still possible to get food poisoning in this day and age.

To add extra variety, I also just came on my period and started a nasty cold at the same time. I hardly got any sleep last night

i go to see the doctor this afternoon, as he was busy the WHOLE DAY today and i called at 8am! everyone is sick!
i guess i have kind of bronchitis? or allergia? i can't have deep breath and more i try to breath (talking for example!), more it is hard to breath!
i have headaches and nauseas too, and i cannot go out, smells make me mad (car pollution, perfumes...)
i can't go to work, and it upsets me: i have mountains of work waiting for me, i cannot see the end (i even came to work saturday afternoon!)

i eat chinese food everyweek, i love it and i've never been sick

I guess it totally depends on the restaurant - all it takes is one person not washing their hands after going to the toilet, or using the same chopping board for raw meat as everything else.

I just had a call from my mum, she reckons it might be a virus. I don't know how you could tell, other than taking a stool sample for analysis (bleh!) but I'm pretty sure it was from my lunch.

I hope you feel better soon, Lucile. Remember, you don't live to work, you work to live! I hope it's something that can be cured easily - I had pleurisy a few years ago, and breathing was very painful. Hopefully you don't have that, cos it took ages for me to recover!
