I have a burning feeling on my stomach right where the esophaghus ends and the stomach starts, it hurts there and I have a bab taste in my mouth and I feel like it never stops, I don't know what it is.

It started exactly the day after I got fired. What can it be?

Get some antacids. And maybe a prescription for a proton pump inhibitor (drugs that make your stomach less acidic), like Losec.

It doesn't have to go all the way up the throat to be reflux. Reflux just means its exiting the top of the stomach. In some people, the acid will go all the way to the back of the throat. In other people it will be at the top of their stomach or mid-way up the chest (thus why it is called "heartburn" a lot).

do you think I should go to a doctor?? will he send me embarassing humiliating exams?
