| There is absolutely NO health risk to skipping your period. The only slight downside is you *may* get breakthrough bleeding towards the end of your next pill packet. I am actually told by my doctor to tricycle (take three packets back to back) of my pills because I get period induced asthma. We have far too many periods nowadays (about 400 as compared to 40 for most of human history) and some women have this weird obsession that if they don't bleed monthly *terrible things will happen*. There isn't actually anything terrible than can happen from skipping a period- blood doesn't build up in you, semen doesn't build up in you, you don't get some weird infection inside, its absolutely fine. |
