its all in my left ear I tryed sticking my finger in it but now my ear is completley blocked. I also waited a few days and its not gone, shoud I see a doctor? are there any methods? I cant live without music so I dont wanna go deaf as stupid as it sounds

you need to get a syringe (without the needle) and blast water into your ear until it dislodges.

there's an art to it

a really gross black ball of wax will come out..

go to a dr and get them to do it. i don't know how safe it is to do it yourself :P

Well its safer, but not 100% safe. Lets put it this way, a parent of mine went to the doctor for it and the doctor burst their eardrum cause they got too zealous with the syringe..
But I'm sure that was a total freak accident.

My boyfriend just had to go to the doctor for this. It worked and now his ear is fine.

just get some wax dislodging drops

yes go to the doctors and get them to wash it out for you. do not use cotton buds as it pushes the wax further down the ear

Get an ear wax candle at a health store. I've never had it done to me, but according to my mom who has used it on people, it works quite well. You put the tip into your ear and light the other end and it "sucks" the wax out.

Or you can go to the DR and have them do it for you. ;D

do not do this yourself, you run the risk of blowing your fucking ear out. WARM rags and heat may help loosen it up. But don't stick shit in your ear when it gets to that point you are just pushing it in more. Go to a clinic or if you have a nurse on campus of at work go see them. They have the instruments and the knowledge on the proper way to care for this

Aha, one time my boyfriend bought some of those and he was like "Okay I bought something I want to try, but I might need your help" and I was like "Uhhh okay but you know we just bought a butt plug like last week I mean whoa pony" Then he brings out these two conical stick things and I'm like "Jesus what am I supposed to do with those?" But then he told me what they were and all was well. As for whether or not they work, I guess a little but not as much as if you went to the doc.

Yeah, there are several methods you can use to take the wax out, but if it's as bad as you make it out to be, you should definitely go to a doctor and have them do it for you. That is better than doing anything that might cause unnecessary damage to your ear.

BTW, how do ears get so clogged with ear wax? I have never had this problem. I use Q-Tips every few days and my ears are fine. I've heard of, and seen, people who produce abnormal amounts of ear wax and have to get it taken care of by a DR periodically. I knew a kid in middle school whose ear wax dripped out of his ears. But if one doesn't have that problem, how do you let your ears get so clogged that you have to see medical help? Ew.

I just woke up it got worse so I squeezed my nose and my hearing went back, but I may have to go to the docter it might come back again

I have a lot of problems with wax, I know all about it. I wouldn't pick at it before you soften it up some though. Try a little olive oil in the ear, just some drops and a cotton ball. Then make an appointment for a syringing with your doc.
