| | | losing weight does help but doesn't get rid of it (even Sienna Miller herself confesses she has a bout of 'orange peel') Detox dieting is the only Ive had experience with that works. Celery, apple, cucumber, aloe, green/white tea and all that green leafy crap seems to be the ones that do it but there's no point if you are going to eat a pack of crisps and a pint of larger that evening. It just doesn't work that way and it takes ages even if you are disciplined. (6months to a year but who's got time for that?)
Skin brushing up towards the heart with a loofah
You could get expensive creams in the pharmacey but what worked absolute wonders was a sample of "sea-weed water" that I got at an ocean festival. It was basically desalinated water with sea weed extract in it, it was all murky looking and actually looked a bit rank but put it on my skin and after one week..........omg amazing!! I have no idea where I could buy a product like it (it was a free sample of a home-made mixture) but I think something with seaweed would work wonders. |

| | | cool thanks for your tips.
I guess its a bit like dieting. whats the point in doing lots of stomach exercises if you are ging to eat a load of cake before or after. time and effort.

| | | Yes it's true that once you have it you can't get rid of it. You can lose weight but that won't get rid of the cellulite. You can try the expensive creams but who knows if they really work or if they're just a waste of money. |

| | | I have found that skin brushing and also exfoliating with coffee grinds (caffiene helps) do something towards ridding you of it, but there is no miracle cure. It is just uneven fat distribution and even really skinny people have it. Loads of people have told me that giving up drinking caffiene (apparently it is good when applied directly to the area, not if you drink it) and alcohol makes it go away, but I gave up both and I still have it. |

| | | There is some kind of plastic surgery procedure that gets rid of it. It's not liposuction, it's something else. But I'm sure it's expensive. |

| | | The way I see it, it's only horrendously bad if you're a "celebrity" and get photographed with lumpy thighs coming out of a taxi. No boyfriends have yet complained about mine.

| | | I have it! I've been thin and I've been normal size and it doesn't make a difference, you've still got cellulite. I fail to see it as a huge issue is anyway. |

| | I have a problem with this, I'm not sure if I have it or not. I'm 98% sure I do but it might just be stretch marks?! It's like . . white lines & yes even thin people get it (although my mother who is normal sized/ has had a baby has NONE. WTF.) |

it's' called endermologie. it's the only FDA approved cellulite treatment. it looks like a giant ultra sound machine that they run across your areas of cellulite. it really does work amazingly (my mum does it for part of her job). it's non-invasive- unlike surgery- it feels like you're getting a little massage. the only caveat is that once you stop the treatments (which i think are like $100 each) then the results stop showing. |
