i've been put on ascorbic acid and i have to take 8 tablets a day. unfortunately i have to chew them. they taste like death. most like those trick shop sour sweets you got as a kid that make you vom: 
i've tried every strong tasting food in the house to take at the same time as chewing to hide the taste. today i've tried mustard, fizzy cola bottles and undiluted ribena. none worked.
please help. |

| | | If you're one of those people who likes to eat garlic raw, I suggest you try that before you take the pill. It may not be the best social strategy, but you can kiss your sense of taste goodbye.
Also, holding your nose while eating inhibits the taste somewhat. It's not very effective though, especially for strong flavours.
But yeah, like Insomnia said, you'll just have to put up with it. Just focus on the fact that you wont have to take them forever. |

Eat a square of chocolate before (cos chocolate kinda coats your mouth) and one after.
My grandma always used to take her pills with yoghurt...but I suppose that isn't really an option...
or could you not crush them up first and then swallow them? |
