| | | You'll never need to try another lip balm I have discovered the three best lip balms, none of which contain petroleum which actually moistens the top layer, but dries the lips.
I mentioned one pre- hack and that still stands - Chapstick Natural.
Aveeno -- it has a light vanilla scent/flavor and has replaced The Chapstick Natural for me.
I have recently been using Burt's Bees Pomegranite. It's fairly new - maybe a month or two. It really keep my lips moist and has a nice scent.Plus it's natural and not made by a major corporation like Chapstick.
None of these feel sticky or harsh or waxy, and they last quite a long time. Try them! |

| | | u oughtta try some stuff that says 'it's crack time' on the package, it's just for cracked lips and has aloe in it. maybe you mentioned it the aveeno, but i think it has another name what i'm talking about.
anywayz, the best stuff for real as far as for cold weather and cracked lips is 'Carmex' hands down no contest. but regular cherry chapstick is okay if your lips ain't all cracked up from the cold weather. |

| | | I swear by them but I am not opposed to trying yours. Where is it sold? Health food stores? Cracked nipples --- zoinks. I am glad I have never experienced that. Hey if you like chapstick or carmex - and it works - good on ya. But from what I have read and tested any product with petroleum only moistens the top layer and actually dries the lips.
That product you mentioned sounds like calendula. What is the flavor/scent? Or is it scentless? Is it expensive? Does it come in various packaging options> I like to carry a small aveeno type plastic tube in my purse at all times, but by my bed I have all sorts of potions and creams in larger containers.
My best friend uses cocoa butter. It;s only .99. But I don;t like the chocolate flavor. |

| | | Aveeno makes lip balm? I always put my Aveeno moisturizer on my lips when I'm sitting around the house but it's not convenient to carry the whole bottle around in my purse. I'll have to check this crap out! |

| | | Ah, yes, chapped-lips time of year. I fucking hate it! Woo!
My balm of choice is Vaseline. I like fancy nice-smelling menthol-y stuff, but at the end of the day, plain ole ass-lube really gets the job done. |

Best stuff in the WORLD. I once got splashed in the face with hot oil, and after a week of using this, there was no trace of the burns at all. Chapped lips? No problem. Gored by a bull? It'll fix that too. |

| | | Molton Brown lip saver is really light and soothing but it's expensive. I got mine free from a hotel.
I like the tiny pots of vaseline, the aloe one for 99p. I also like a slick of 100% aloe vera juice - from a tube - I tried it fresh from the plant and it smelt so ming I threw-up. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
