| | | I've used an epilator and it was awful. I was bleedng out of all the little hair follicles and it was really painful. And that was with the frozen bit on it that's supposed to make it less sore but really just makes you cold ontop of the pain. I have sensitive skin though.
I want to try electrolysis to cut down on the amount of tmes I have to wax or shave because I'm lazy and crap at it. |

| | | i havent used it myself but i know a few people that have and apparently its awful and takes forever. im a total pain wuss but id choose waxing over electrolysis if its as bad as it sounds. it seems kind of outdated & old-fashioned now, i dont know why its still in practice really. |

| | | I had electrolosys done twice. I don't remember it being too painful. The first time I went in I didn't feel any pain at all, and they used tweezers. The second time they used some wax and that was more painful. Laser is the way to go! |

you dont use tweezer or wax in electrolosys, a needle is inserted into the folical and they electrocute the hair. |

| | I bought an epilator
Biggest fucking waste of my money ever
I don't think it actuallysuccessfully pulled out a single hair, it felt like the area had been sandpapered or VERY badly shaved & grew back in days
As well as the pain (underarms = AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!) and the bleeding
Hair removal makes me |

| | | Epilators are only really useful if you have a lot of time on your hands and you're kind of masochistic.
They work wonders on underarm hair if you can build up a tolerance. I could never get the hang of waxing, it just made all my leg hairs grow back ingrown (and i did the whole exfoliating moisturising thing).
How many electrolysis treatments do you need to properly erradicate the hair? |

But the point is that you don't feel the tweezing action if the electrolosys is done properly because the hair is now sitting loosely in the follicle. |

| | | My beautician told me it only works if you have really dark, course hair.
The person who actually manages to invent a permanent hair removal method THAT WORKS will be a billionaire. |
