I have been on the pill (various brands) for the last six and a half years. As you can see in another thread, I am having problems with breakthrough bleeding and apparently taking a month break from the pill can help. Now would be a good time because I am single. However I have an important exam next month and I am slightly concerned that if I come off the pill I will turn into some sort of hormonal psycho. Its been so long since I was off the pill (I started when I was 16) that I don't really know what I was like off it, apart from I had terrible periods and anaemia. Has anyone else come off the pill after ages on it- what happened? |

everything was just peachy and i was happy all the time and didnt burst into screaming and crying fits over nothing.
but since then i have put on alot of weight and havent really had any periods..but i think thats because of polysistic overies
but

my doctor said i might have that
what did your doctor say about it? is it a big deal? what happens to you? |

I have always had slightly spotty skin and being on the pill didn't change that, but I am scared if I come off it, my face will become some horrendous zit fest. I really don't want to come off it for long, my life on it is so much better! |

what did your doctor say about it? is it a big deal? what happens to you? | i dont really know? iv talked to lots of people who have it and its all REALLY different? some people cant have children..some have 5? some are fat some are thin?
aparently there is a really good pill you can go on which makes you lose the excess weight and hairyness (WHICH I GOT BAD)
but i have had alot of blood tests which dont really say anything apart from i have more testosterone than the average and on friday i went for an ultrasound so they could have a look at my overies
so i will know later on in the week i thinkx

that sounds fucking weird? thanks for replying...i bet i do have it, in the past year ive gained alot of weight in a weird way, that sounds weird but it was like i seemed to gain weight really fast? i had a blood test the other day so itll be interesting to see what the results say...bc i havent had my period since july & im starting to get abit worried |

well when you say hair do you mean LOTS of hair in the normal places or hair where there probably shouldnt be hair? or hair where there was no hair before? bc the hair on my legs seems to grow v. quickly...
