Poison is going a bit far! It basically doesn't take very long at all for the steroid hormones in the pill to be broken down by your liver (24 hours infact, that is why you have to take the pill everyday). However, if your body has not had to produce any hormones of its own for years, it won't be expecting to suddenly do it again, so that is why it takes time to get back to normal again.

it alters your whole biochemical makeup and cycle of your period

it makes your body think you are already knocked up

anyway I think that the way that my body is reacting is like being poisoned

I would never take the pill again
