I am a photographer/graphic designer, and in my career I've had to learn about faces and I've paid lots of attention to it, what makes a beautiful face and all that.
Maybe one of the reasons why I am so obsessed with old hollywood is because all of those actors and actresses all had great faces. And the actors today can't compare.
To me there is no greater face than Grace Kelly:
I think she had the perfect face. She had the perfect bone structure, and the most beautiful shape there is(oval, high cheekbones), and her features matched and complemented each other perfectly. Not one of her features grabbed more attention than the other, they all were equal in beauty, she had a face that had perfect unison in every aspect and that is why she is perfect.
Another great face was Marilyn Monroe:
She did not have a perfect face like Grace Kelly(in fact, she even had a nose job), BUT she had a very unique quality and that was that she looked good from every angle and doing almost every expression, and that is EXTREMELY RARE because most people only have ONE good side, and only look good doing one certain expression.
For instance, do you remember Natasha from America's Next top model?? well she is really beautiful BUT only when she's not talking, because the moment she starts talking, she stops looking pretty and whenever she laughed she looked like a troll. Well most people are like that.
But not Marilyn. If she smiled she was gorgeous. If she was serious, she was gorgeous, if she pout she was gorgeous, I mean she always looked gorgeous. That is why she's one of film's greatest beauties.
